How do I place an order?
Kulture Scientific operates as a B2B supplier with a review-based ordering process. When you submit an order through our website, it is received as a quotation and reviewed by our team before confirmation. You will receive an order confirmation email once your order has been accepted. If you prefer to place an order by phone or email, contact us at info@kulturesci.com or (970) 303-9039.

Can I request a quote before placing an order?
Yes. We welcome quote requests, especially for large volume orders, recurring purchases, or products you want to evaluate before committing. Email us at info@kulturesci.com with the product name or catalog number and quantity needed. We will respond with pricing and availability within one business day.

Do you accept purchase orders (POs)?
Yes. We accept institutional purchase orders from universities, government agencies, hospitals, and established research organizations. To pay by PO, select "Pay by Check or Net Terms" at checkout and include your PO number in the order notes. We will confirm your order and issue an invoice referencing your PO number.

Can I get a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) before purchasing?
Yes. CoAs are available for cell culture media, sera, and cell lines upon request. Email us at info@kulturesci.com with the product name and catalog number and we will send the relevant documentation. We encourage customers to review CoAs before ordering biological products, as all biological product sales are final.

Do you offer volume pricing or standing orders?
Yes. Volume pricing is available for larger orders and customers with recurring purchasing needs. Contact us to discuss your requirements and we can set up a pricing arrangement or standing order schedule that works for your lab.

💳 Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express), check, ACH/bank transfer, and Net Terms for approved accounts. Credit card payments are processed securely through Stripe. To pay by check or request Net Terms, select "Pay by Check or Net Terms" at checkout — your order will be held for review and invoiced accordingly.

How do I apply for a Net Terms account?
Contact us at info@kulturesci.com before or alongside your first order. Include your organization name, billing address, and a contact for credit verification. Net Terms are available to qualifying institutions and established businesses. New customers may be asked to pay by credit card for an initial order while terms are being established.

When is payment due for invoiced orders?
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment terms are Net 30 from the invoice date. Late payments may result in a hold on future orders. Please contact us if you anticipate any issues with payment timing — we are happy to work with you.

Is my payment information secure?
Yes. Credit card payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Kulture Scientific does not store your card information on our systems.

Are prices listed in US dollars?
Yes. All prices on our website are listed in US dollars and apply to orders shipped within the contiguous United States. Prices are subject to change without notice. Written quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance.
📦 Shipping & Handling
How is cell culture media shipped?
Cell culture media ships at ambient (room) temperature via standard ground or expedited carriers. Media must be stored at 2–8 °C immediately upon receipt and used under strict aseptic conditions. Do not freeze media unless the product documentation specifically states it is freeze-stable.

How are cell lines shipped?
Cell lines are shipped cryopreserved on dry ice via overnight courier to ensure viability. Shipments are scheduled Monday through Wednesday to avoid weekend transit delays. You will receive a tracking number and shipping confirmation the day the order ships. Upon receipt, transfer vials immediately to liquid nitrogen storage — do not store at −80 °C or −20 °C.
⚠ Cell line shipments require someone available to receive and immediately process the package. If you anticipate any issues with receipt timing, please notify us before your order ships so we can coordinate.

How are sera and serum products shipped?
Serum products ship frozen on dry ice via overnight courier. Upon receipt, store at −20 °C. Once thawed, serum should not be refrozen — thaw only the volume needed for immediate use, or aliquot into working volumes before freezing.

How are standard consumables shipped?
Pipette tips, tubes, plates, and other standard consumables ship via FedEx or UPS ground. Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Expedited shipping is available at checkout. Some consumable products are fulfilled through our distribution partners and may ship from a different location — delivery times are the same.

Do you ship internationally?
At this time, Kulture Scientific ships within the contiguous United States only. We do not currently ship to Alaska, Hawaii, or internationally. If you are located outside the contiguous US and are interested in our products, contact us at info@kulturesci.com to discuss options.

How do I track my order?
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can also log in to your Kulture Scientific account to view order status. If you have not received a tracking number within 2 business days of your order confirmation, contact us at info@kulturesci.com.

What if my order arrives damaged?
Contact us within 5 business days of confirmed delivery with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs of the damage. Do not discard damaged packaging before contacting us — we may need it for a carrier claim. See our Return & Refund Policy for full details on damaged item claims.

Can you help me choose the right media or serum for my cell line?
Yes — this is one of the things we love doing. Our team has deep experience in cell culture and can help you match the right formulation to your application. Email us at info@kulturesci.com with information about your cell type, the assay you are running, and any current formulation you are using, and we will make a recommendation.

Where can I find technical documentation for a product?
Product Information Sheets (PIS), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and Certificates of Analysis are available on individual product pages under the Product Documents section. If you cannot find the documentation you need, contact us and we will send it directly.

How do I report a product quality concern?
Contact us at info@kulturesci.com or (970) 303-9039 as soon as possible. Include your order number, lot number (found on the product label), a description of the issue, and photographs if applicable. We take product quality concerns seriously and will respond within one business day.

Are your products for research use only?
Yes. All Kulture Scientific products are intended for research use only (RUO) and are not approved for use in clinical diagnostics, therapeutic procedures, or any application in humans or animals where safety and efficacy must be established. See individual product documentation for full intended use statements.
