- PCR
Half-skirted 96-well polypropylene qPCR plates in 0.1 mL and 0.2 mL well volumes โ designed for Applied Biosystems thermal cyclers and other instruments accepting the half-skirt plate format. The half-skirt provides two raised side walls that support the plate during robotic handling and loading while maintaining the lower profile required by ABI and compatible instrument blocks. Available in clear and white wells with black printed or molded alphanumeric markings.
Ultra-thin well walls ensure optimal and uniform heat transfer for consistent thermal cycling performance. Raised well rims facilitate secure sealing across pressure-sensitive films, adhesive seals, and heat-sealing technologies. The seal between the tube opening and cap is optimized to minimize evaporation without causing spillage on opening. Non-sterile. Certified DNase/RNase-free and endotoxin-free. 10 plates per box, 100 plates per case.
- Half-skirted format โ ABI compatible โ two raised side walls support the plate during robotic handling and instrument loading while maintaining the lower profile required by Applied Biosystems and compatible instruments
- Broad instrument compatibility โ fits Applied Biosystems thermal cyclers including ABI 7500, 7900HT, and QuantStudio series, as well as other instruments accepting the half-skirt format
- Two well volumes โ 0.1 mL for instruments with 0.1 mL block format and 0.2 mL for standard thermal cycler blocks
- Clear wells โ transparent polypropylene wells for visual inspection and SYBR Green and probe-based detection compatibility
- White wells โ white well surface reflects emitted fluorescence toward the detector for improved signal sensitivity in low-template applications
- Black print labeling (0.2 mL clear only) โ high-contrast alphanumeric identifiers printed on the plate frame
- Molded labeling โ permanently formed alphanumeric identifiers that cannot fade or wear off regardless of handling conditions
- Ultra-thin well walls โ optimal and uniform heat transfer across all 96 wells for consistent thermal cycling performance
- Raised well rims โ secure sealing with pressure-sensitive films, adhesive seals, and heat-sealing technologies
- Optimized seal design โ tube wall thickness minimizes evaporation without causing spillage on opening
- DNase/RNase-free and endotoxin-free โ certified for sensitive nucleic acid applications
